Visitors and Extra Person Fees

Sunfox Campground welcomes you to have paid visitors to your campsite, but please make sure your guests are aware of campground rules, and please inform them of the visitor fees detailed below.  Paid visitors are welcome to use all campground facilities, but please make sure your friends who may not be familiar with the campground experience are made aware of rules, especially regarding the swimming pool, and general courtesy, such as not cutting through other campsites.  Sunfox reserves the right to limit the number of visitors to any particular campsite.

Unlike many campgrounds whose base rate only includes 2 adults, for purposes of rates and site assignments, our camping fees are based on one camping unit and 1 family per site.  For purposes of rates and site assignments, a “family” is defined as two adults and up to 4 of their unmarried children under the age of 21. For all other situations (such as two couples), the rate is based on 4 adults. Rates are based on one family and one camping unit per site and are limited to no more than 4 adults, with extra person fees assessed to any children or adults beyond the base rate. We do permit a small tent in addition to an RV for registered members of your camping party.  However, if a second family chooses to camp on the same site (or greater than 4 adults, including any overnight guests), they will be charged the full site rate for the camping period, as if another separate and additional site was reserved.  Therefore, we encourage you to reserve a second site. For any non-family group, each member of the camping party must be at least 21 years of age, with a maximum of four persons.  Please note that on long-term reservations (such as seasonal campsites), rates are based on 2 persons.

ADDITIONAL PERSONS

Additional persons are defined as registered members of the camping party beyond the “family of 6” and must be listed on the registration slip and paid for at the time of registration for the entire length of the camping stay, and those registered names are non-transferable during the duration of the reservation.

SITE CAMPING & RV RENTALS—Additional persons beyond family base rate
Additional Adults (21 & over):$12 per adult per night for full stay (sorry, no more than 4 adults per campsite)
Additional Kids (4 yrs-20 yrs): $8 per child per night for full stay
Additional Senior Citizens (65 yrs & over): $8 per senior per night for full stay

Children 3 years of age and younger are not charged or counted toward limits regarding total number of persons

For determining your extra person fees and site limits, the following information may be helpful…with a reminder of one camping unit (RV) per site.  For those tenting, a small tent is permitted in addition to the RV or primary tent, provided no more than one family per site.  Most sites are able to accommodate 1-2 vehicles, depending on size of your RV or tent.

2 Adults and up to 4 Children:  Base Rate (no additional person fees)
2 Adults and 5 Children: Base PLUS 1 extra child @ $8/night
2 Adults and 6 Children: Base PLUS 2 extra children ($16/night)
2 Adults and 7 Children: Sorry, you will need a second site, unless at least one child is age 3 or younger, or unless all 7 kids are yours (no friends of your kids or nieces and nephews or second-cousins once removed, for instance)…in which case Base PLUS 3 extra children ($24/night)

3 Adults and up to 3 Children: Base Rate (no additional person fees)
3 Adults and 4 Children: Base PLUS 1 extra ADULT @ $12/night…or $8/Senior Citizen, such as grandma or grandpa
3 Adults and 5 Children: Base PLUS 1 extra ADULT and 1 extra child ($20/night)…or $16 if adult is a Senior Citizen, such as grandma or grandpa
3 Adults and 6 Children: Sorry, you will need a second site, unless at least one child is age 3 or younger, or unless all 6 kids are yours (no friends of your kids or cousins, for instance)…in which case Base PLUS 1 extra ADULT and 2 extra children ($28/night)

4 Adults and up to 2 Children: Base Rate (no additional person fees)
4 Adults and 3 Children: Base Rate PLUS 1 extra ADULT $ $12/night…or $8/Senior Citizen, such as grandma or grandpa
4 Adults and 4 Children: Base Rate PLUS 2 extra ADULTS ($24/night)…or $8/Senior Citizen, such as grandma or grandpa
4 Adults and 5 Children or more:  Sorry, you will need a second site, as this is clearly 2 families attempting to share one site

5 or more Adults:  Sorry, you will need a second site, as no more than 4 adults are permitted on one site

VISITORS

Visitors are defined as anyone who was not listed on the registration slip and paid for at time of registration.  Day visitors must leave the campground by 10PM.  A full refund of paid daily visitor fees will be issued if all visitors are out within 30 minutes of arrival (for instance, your camping friends were gone for the day, or you were just dropping off supplies).  The maximum number of people registered on a campsite is 8, and in terms of total campground capacity, no site should have more than 8 paid visitors at any one time, without express permission from management for gatherings such as birthday parties.

Visitor Fees for special events are posted separately.  Any visitors after 8PM will be charged overnight fee.
